ION VEIN Partners With MORTAL MUSIC

September 14, 2011

Chicago-based metallers ION VEIN have partnered with Mortal Music to release the band's new music worldwide.

Commented ION VEIN guitarist/founder Chris Lotesto: "We are very happy to announce that we've partnered up with Mortal Music to get the new ION VEIN music out to the masses the way we've always envisioned it could be done. We've been friends for a long time and these guys just get it, they're always trying to push the envelope on how things are done, and it's quite refreshing actually! We're really looking forward to doing some great and innovative things together; it's going to be a really exciting time for all of us!"

Added Mortal Music's Rob Such: "Always great working with forward-thinking bands who are on the same page, and ION VEIN is definitely one of those bands. We're especially excited about this partnership because ION VEIN will be the first Mortal Music band to implement our new philosophy and release strategies... which we're hoping will be a significant game-changer in helping the music industry evolve in a very positive way. Can't wait!"

ION VEIN has been hard at work with producer Neil Kernon (NILE, NEVERMORE, QUEENSRCHE, REDEMPTION),wrapping up vocal tracks and getting songs ready to mix/master. This will mark the band's first release with new vocalist Scott Featherstone.
